Jeremy Buendia’s Profile
MISSION STATEMENT
My goal is to make a difference in the lives of each person I meet. I want to know that somehow, some way, I made their life better. Each person has their own battle and their own struggle, and if I can teach people to keep moving forward then I know that they aren’t moving backwards. Make success your only option and failure will become irrelevant.
BIOGRAPHY
Jeremy Buendia might have well been born with a dumbbell in his hand as he has been around the weights for what seems to be forever. Growing up watching his father lift weights on a daily basis gave Jeremy a strong foundation and love for the sport of bodybuilding at a very early age. Jeremy grew up in a very competitive nature following the footsteps of his older brother and always being challenged to live up to the same expectations. Jeremy was never one to accept defeat nor was Jeremy one to ever be defeated. The desire to win and the desire to achieve was something that made Jeremy stand out amongst the rest from early on. Jeremy always went the extra mile to ensure that he was prepared in every aspect when faced by his adversary. Whether is was school or sports, Jeremy always excelled. Jeremy quickly found his calling in the National Physique Committee and the IFBB (International Federation of Bodybuilding) at the age of 19 where he won his first bodybuilding title. In 2012, at the Age of 21, Jeremy made the transition to the Men’s Physique division, where as an amateur Jeremy made a run winning multiple shows sweeping out all the competition on the west coast. May 2013, Jeremy won the Overall at the NPC Jr. USA’s beating out over 150 of the nation’s best amateurs, which earned him the rights to the IFBB Pro League. Within 3 months Jeremy Won his first pro show at the 2013 Greater Gulf States in New Orleans, La and earned his first Olympia Qualification at the age of 22. Jeremy went on to take 2nd place against 16 of the world’s best physiques that year. That was Jeremy’s only loss as an IFBB Professional. Since then Jeremy has won 4 IFBB Pro Men’s Physique competitions, 2 of which are the 2014 and 2015 Men’s Physique Olympia earning him the title as the BEST men’s physique athlete in the world, Jeremy Buendia went on to become the first ever repeat Olympia men’s physique champion!
Since winning his Olympia Titles, Jeremy has appeared on several magazine covers, both nationally and internationally. Almost any fitness magazine picked up, one would more than likely come across Jeremy in it. Not only has Jeremy been on fitness magazine covers, he has also graced the covers of romance novels as well. In September 2015, Jeremy co-starred in the docu-drama film “the Perfect Physique” which captures the lives and struggles of several top IFBB Pros and Fitness Cover Models.
